San Francisco, CA – August 21, 2018 – Oqton, an autonomous manufacturing platform provider, today announced the appointment of Carl Bass to its board of directors. A seasoned technology icon and former CEO of Autodesk, Bass will serve as an independent director of the company.

Bass co-founded Ithaca software, which was acquired by Autodesk in 1993. During his 24-year tenure at Autodesk, he served in key roles across the organization, including CEO from 2006 to 2017. He currently sits on the board of directors for multiple technology companies and continues to explore new concepts in advanced manufacturing at his workshop in Berkeley, CA.
